Tyler's Elk

I neglected to put Tyler's record book elk up when I put mine up. Shame on me. He got his the year before I got mine. It's a beauty and bigger than mine.

Easter

The "bunny" visited the inside of our house this year, for a number of reasons, mostly because the kids didn't go to bed until after 11:00pm and the "bunny" was too tired and unmotived to venture around in the dark outside. The girls were cool with it. After all the fun is in the searching no matter where it is you are looking.

Kelsey finds another one. She really did appear happier when I first snapped the shot. Dang camera delay.
Dad finds one too. He seems a little too excited about his discovery.

Katie gets in on the "hold your egg up and look excited" shot.

Katie tried to give Kelsey "bunny ears" before I took the picture, but Kelsey caught her.

The "bunny" is so cool. It brought the girls each a parachute egg that had a gummy soldier in it. They went outside to throw the chutes up and watch them float down. Check out what a beautiful day it was! Still pretty chilly but I love the sunshine and blue skies.

Smiley Pig

This picture just cracks me up! We should all be this happy.

Welcome

Trying to keep in touch with family can be tough. Some family members are already blogging, so we thought we would join in.

First off, we thought we would share our recent hunting success stories....

Ty's Antelope

Tyler got a record book Antelope this year. Something he is very proud of. He's on a great streak -- the year before he got a record book elk...

Katie's Antelope

Katie went on her first hunt and got a very nice antelope. She had so much fun! Kelsey was proud of her sister, as you can see.

Chris' Elk

I, Chris, got a near record book elk. It was a fun hunt for me, but a great deal of work! I felt fortunate to even get one and so proud it was this nice.
